Anthony D. Bolin
Age 61, of North Canton, passed away Thursday morning in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Canton, Apr. 16, 1949, a son of Norma (Pasquali) Bolin of Waynesburg, and the late Gene Bolin. He was a Waynesburg resident most of his life and a 1967 graduate of Sandy Valley High School. He retired in 2002 from Republic Steel Corp., after 17 years service, where he was a steelworker. Tony was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Waynesburg, as well as Malvern American Legion Post #375, a life member of Minerva VFW Post #4120, member of Green VFW Post #7490, North Canton Eagles, Aerie #2223, and the Oriole Club of North Canton. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was a highly decorated Veteran, and among his awards he was a recipient of a Bronze Star. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Romolo and Mary Pasquali, and paternal grandparents, Harry and Charlotte Bolin. Along with his mother, Tony is survived by his wife, Kathy L. Bolin, with whom he celebrated their 12th Wedding Anniversary on Aug. 21st; his children, twins Travis Bolin and his wife, Jacy, of Murfreesboro, TN, and Angela Frazier, and her husband, Shane, of Minerva, also son Anthony "Tony" Bolin and his fiancee, Jordan Haynes, of Minerva; four grandchildren, Mykenzie and Kaylee Bolin, Olivia "Lily" Frazier, and Jaden Anthony Bolin; a step-daughter and her husband, Jenny and Jon Green and their children, Sierra and Conner, of Newville, PA; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Lanie and Tim Jones, and Holly (Bolin) Woodyard, all of Canton, and Melodye and Bob Moneypenny, of Magnolia; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, Lady Luck. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Zamary and Fr. Thomas Cebula as Concelebrants. Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 3-6 p.m. at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia. Military graveside services by the American Legion and VFW Posts from Malvern, Minerva and Carrollton.
