TIMOTHY FOWLER, SR.,
Age 75, of Magnolia, passed away Sat. afternoon in Mercy Medical Center. Born in Bessemer, AL, a son of the late Aaron Fowler and Lenora (Duff) Davis, he had been a Magnolia resident for 25 years. Mr. Fowler was self-employed as a railroad contractor. He served with the U.S. Army and was a member of the Family Motor Coach Association and Isaac L. Kinney American Legion Post #244. Preceded in death by his son, Steven Fowler. Survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Fowler, with whom he celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary on July 10, 2013; two daughters and one son-in-law, Jacqueline Fowler and Judith and Louis Bridges, all of Akron; four sons and one daughter-in-law, Ronald Fowler, of Columbus, Timothy Fowler, Jr., of Athens, OH, Anthony and Judith Fowler, of Akron, and Gerald Fowler, of Pittsburgh; one sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and Ronald Harris, of Akron; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Sarah Sledge, of Cleveland Heights; and ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Sat. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Dr. Rhansyl Harris of The Rock Church, Cincinnati, OH, officiating.
