Age 81, of Canton, passed away wed., Dec. 20, 2017, at home in his wife’s loving arms. He was born Feb. 12, 1936 in Howenstine, OH, a son of the late Thomas and Chalcie (Schoolcraft) Carman, and was a Canton resident most of his life. Kenny retired in 1990 from Republic Steel Corp, after 39 years service, where he was a millwright. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Kenny served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and sister, Andy Collins and JoAnna Kellicker. He is survived by his wife, Joyce G. Carman, with whom he celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on Nov. 28th; two daughters, Trevenna (John “Rick”) Carman-Rabel, and Wynonna Adams; six grandchildren, Heather Boston, Garrett, Aaron, Seth, Joel, and Hannah Adams; two great-granddaughters, Hayleigh and Paisleigh; a special cousin, Kathy Bonsky-Heckman; and one brother, George (Helen) Carman. Services will be held Wed. at 10 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon funeral Home with Pastor Thomas K. Fryman, Jr. officiating.
