William A. Jones
Age 71, of Carrollton, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021, after a period of declining health. He was born Jan. 1, 1950 in Dover, a son of Helen (Davidson) Jones of Mineral City, and the late William R. Jones, and had resided in Carrollton since 1996, previously Sandyville. Bill was a 1968 graduate of Tusky Valley High School. He was the owner of Bill’s Welding and Truck Repair in Carrollton. Bill enjoyed traveling and riding his Harley, but most of all he loved his family and friends. In addition to his mother, Bill is survived by his wife, Kate (Harsha) Jones, with whom he celebrated their 52nd Wedding Anniversary on Oct. 12th, two daughters, Debbie (Jim) Daniels and Christine Noble, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, Jamie (Kayla) Jones, and their children, Karson, McKenzie, and soon to be born, Grayson, Emily (Kyle) Davis, and their children, Bentley and Kennedy, Tyler (Alexis) Noble, Brandan Daniels and Olivia Daniels, one sister and one brother, Sandra (Larry) Halverstadt and Tom Jones. The family is going to Celebrate Bill’s Life with an open house on Sat., May 29, 2021, from 1-3 p.m. at their home at 5110 Tongo Rd. NW, Carrollton, OH 44615. Military Honors will be held at the home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill's memory may be made to Community Hospice, 704 Canton Rd. NW, Carrollton, OH 44615.
