Timothy K. Allison
Age 77, of Magnolia, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023. He was born Jan. 9, 1946 in Canton, a son of the late John William “Bill” Allison and Betty (Gill) Allison, and was a Canton resident until moving to Magnolia 32 years ago. Tim was a 1964 graduate of Glenwood High School.
Since 1947 the Allison Family has owned and operated the E. D. Lang Monument Co., and Tim took the helm in 1988. Tim’s memberships included the Monument Builders of North America, VFW, Life Member of the NRA, United States Practical Shooting Association, and the Isaac L. Kinney American Legion Post #244 in East Sparta. He honorably served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War, where he was an interpreter. Tim was an avid golfer, hunter, and aviation enthusiast. He and Donna loved to take their boat to Lake Erie fishing.
Tim is survived by his long time love and companion, Donna Tedrick; his daughter, Jennifer (Gary) Hengelsberg, and their sons, Matthew and Ryan; his brother, Terry Allison, and niece, Tara (David) Munier, and their son, Logan; his extended family, Cathy (Tim) Troyer, and their daughters, Courtney (fiancé Sam Bates) Troyer and Regina Troyer; Sandy (Mike) Kohler, and children, Steve (Michelle) Walker, and their children, Avery, Olivia, and Emersyn, Kevin (partner Andrea Brown) Walker, and their daughter, Mackenzie, Cody Walker, and Jenny (Brian) Clough, and children, Weston and Corbin; Mary Ann (Mike) Gasper; Paula Moore and children, Colby (fiancée Makenna Penick) Moore; Pheobe Moore; and Gabriel Moore.
Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Brother Timothy Carlson officiating. Friends may call Wed. 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
