Susan L. Garmier
Age 81, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, April16, 2023. She was born Nov. 26, 1941 in Akron, a daughter of the late Stayton and Ruthe (Heck) Todd, lived in Ft. Myers and The Villages in Florida from 1999 until returning to this area in 2011. Susan was a 1959 graduate of Glenwood High School and a 1961 graduate of Dental School at The Ohio State University to become a Dental Hygienist, and later received a Degree for Medical Transcription. She was a retired dental hygienist having worked for several Dentists. She was an avid sewer and quilter and was a member of the former Calvary Presbyterian Church and the Sassy Scissors. She and Marvin were campers with the Calvary Presbyterian Church Caravaners for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Marvin E. Garmier, a brother, Stayton Todd II, and a son-in-law, John Lake. Susan is survived by three daughters, Martha (Rick) Lang, Mary Frazee, and Stacy Lake; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Stephanie Seymoure, and her son, Jacob, Candice Lang, and her son, Landen Striker, Shannon (Jared) Hessler, Kendra (Nick) Bordenkircher, and their daughter, Skylar, and Kennedy Frazee; one brother, Michael (Anna) Todd.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 11 a.m. in Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Williams officiating. Friends may call Tuesday 10-11 a.m. before the service. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
