Robert L. Jeffers II
Age 50, of Alliance, passed away Wed. Oct. 27, 2021 at Aultman Compassionate Care following a brief illness. He was born June 7, 1971 in Watseka, IL, a son of the late Robert L. Jeffers and Connie Sue (Baker) and Brian Gortney, and has resided in Waynesburg and Canton most of his life. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Jeffers, grandparents, Francis and Inez Jeffers, Ed and Elizabeth Trumble, and Claude and Elsie Baker, and many aunts and uncles.
He will be dearly missed by his mother and step-father, Connie Sue and Brian Gortney, his sister, Pam (Wilbur) Croston, and nephew, Willie Croston, and by other family and friends.
Bob worked for many years as an Auto Mechanic. Bob loved fishing, Nascar racing, cooking, and adopting stray cats. He lived as a man with nine lives, and he lived the last one as a Christian attending Deuber United Methodist Church. Bob helped his aunt Vickie and uncle P.J. Bell during their time of need, and helped others who were unfortunate and homeless. He started each day thanking God for his blessings, for rescuing him, and giving him a new life. He was happy and grateful.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Sat., June 25, 2022 at Lawrence Park in Canton, Ohio. Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
