Richard L. Lindsay
Age 90, of Mineral, City, passed away on Monday, Sept. 26, 2022. He was born Nov. 26, 1931, in Mineral City a son of the late Alexander and Sarah (Fiddler) Lindsay, and was a life resident. Rich was a 1949 graduate of Mineral City High School. He was retired from Borden’s Ice Cream Company where he was a delivery driver. Rich was a member of the Tusky Valley Booster Club and the Mineral City Baseball Association. He honorably served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents, Rich was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Verna M. Lindsay, on Oct. 19, 2001, a son Scott Lindsay, on June 10, 1984, two sisters and three brothers, Joanne Stewart, Jane Secrest, Alexander, Robert, and James Lindsay. He is survived by two daughters and three sons, Brenda Bair, Karen (Dusty) Renicker, Rick Lindsay, Tim (Jessica) Lindsay, and Todd (Angi) Lindsay; one sister, Dorothy Edwards, and one brother, Paul Lindsay; 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, Jeff (Shondell Haney) Bair, and children, Donovan, Devon, and Alana, Brian Bair and his son, Dominic, Kevin (Heather Houston) Bair, and children, Drake, Meadow, and Ali, Kyle Bair, Sara (Emery) Streit, and children, Stella, Lucy, and Anthony, Kayla (Richard) Holman, and children, Reese and Riley, Dan Rennicker, Christina Lindsay, and children, Madison, Accordiana, and Barbaranna, Mike ( fiancée Casie Hahn) Lindsay, and children, Lucas, AJ, and Bella, Eric Lindsay, and his daughter, Macy, Johnathan Lindsay, and son William, Ryan Rhodes, Jamie Lindsay and son, Jayden, Spencer (Kate) Lindsay, and children Emma and Gabriel, Adam (Becca) Lindsay, and children, Mari, Landry, and Carter.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sat., Oct. 8, 2022, from 1-4 p.m. at the Mineral City Fire House. Interment will be in German Cemetery in Mineral City following Cremation. Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
