Patricia A. Steinbaugh

Age 90, of Mineral City, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024. She was born July 2, 1933 in Dover, a daughter of the late Ernest and Chloetta (Schilling) Griesen, and resided in Mineral City since 1958. Pat was a 1951 graduate of Dover High School. She was a member of Mineral City Church of the Nazarene but most recently attended Somerdale Maranatha Bible Church. She was a life member of the Mineral City Volunteer Fire Department which she served as an EMT eight years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Donald E. “Fred” Steinbaugh, on Oct. 3, 2006, three sisters, Mila Peterman, Iva Elliott and Donna Elliott, six brothers, Glen, Edward, Ernest Jr., Kenneth, Loren & Richard Griesen, and son-in-law, Michael Spillman. Pat is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Dianna and Richard Sponaugle and Stacey Spillman, one son and daughter-in-law, Brady and Leslie Steinbaugh, and five grandchildren, Joshua Sponaugle, Tyler (Shelly) Sponaugle, Clint Spillman, Krystal Spillman, and Brandon Steinbaugh; and sister-in-law’s, Janet and Dixie Griesen and Hallie Sue Ferrell.

Services will be held Thur. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Richard Harvey officiating.  Friends may call Wed. 5-7 p.m.  Interment will be in German Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pat’s memory may be made to Truman House/New Philadelphia Hospice, Nicole Donant Public Library, Mineral City, OH 44656 or the Mineral City Volunteer Fire Dept.
