Patricia C. Beattie

Age 71, of Waynesburg, passed away Friday July 20, 2018.  She was born July 2, 1947 in Salt Lake City, UT, a daughter of the late Bennett and Louise (Ethington) Branson, had resided in Utah, Arizona and California, and came to Waynesburg in 2007 from Houston, TX.  Patricia was a 1965 graduate of Westwood High School in Mesa, AZ, and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Brigham Young University.  She was on a Service Mission in a Peanut Butter Factory in Houston, and also served 30 years with the Boy Scouts of America in many locations.  Patricia is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in which she was extremely active.   She is survived by her husband, Earl J. Beattie, with whom she celebrated their 43rd Wedding Anniversary on April 25th; two sons, Stephen Beattie and Kevin and Sarah Beattie; one grandson, Archer Beattie; two sisters, Jeannine Branson and Diane Branson.  Services will be held Wed. at 11 a.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 735 Easthill St. SE, North Canton 44720, with Brother Ron LaPenes officiating.  Interment will be in Sandy valley Cemetery in Waynesburg.  Friends may call at the church Wed. one hour before the service from 10-11 a.m.  Condolences to the family may be sent to: gordonfuneralhomes.com
