Michael Mayle

Michael D. Mayle,

of Canton Township, passed away on November 10, 2023 following a courageous battle with cancer.  Michael was born September 16, 1953 in West Virginia.  He retired from the Timken Co. after 37 years’ service and was a member of the Sandy Valley Eagles.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Denzil and Pansy Mayle, three brothers, and two sisters. 

He is survived by his wife, Carmen (Ward) Mayle, a daughter, Erica (David) Anderson, a son Erik (Kady) Ward, grandchildren, Lindsey (Anderson) and Bryan Hollinger, and their children Harper, Halee and Brayden Hollinger, Kaitlyn Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bolivar on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 3pm to 7pm.  The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice in Michael’s name.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
