Michael A. Faiello
Age 76 of Canton, previously Magnolia, passed away Thursday December 13, 2018. He was born April 17, 1942 in Magnolia, a son of the late Rocco and Carmel (Logozzo) Faiello, and was a life resident of this area. Mike was a 1960 graduate of Sandy Valley High School. He retired in 1995 from Timken Steel, after 30 years service, where he was a steel inspector supervisor. Mike was an active and devoted member of St. James Catholic Church. Mike was known for his friendly manner and zest for life. He was a man of many talents, and was always busy with a long list of interests and hobbies. He enjoyed gardening, decorating, bowling, and singing in the church choir. Above all, he will be remembered as a devoted family man. He is survived by his wife, Nina J. Faiello, with whom he celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary on April 20th; two daughters, and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Kevin Irwin, and their children, Cory, Emma, and Aubrey, Angela and James Lovorn II, and their children, Hannah, Riley, and James III; one son and daughter-in-law, Mike T. and Sharon Faiello, and their children, Alexandria “Alex” and A. J.; three sisters, Nancy and Gary Neisel, Anne and Dave Boyd, and Vickie and Glenn Albright’ three brothers, Pat and Maris Faiello, Dave and Judy Faiello, and Richard Faiello; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Zamary as Celebrant. Interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m. at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.
