Marguerite Pellegrene
Age 94, of Magnolia, passed away Monday, March 30, 2020. She was born August 26, 1925 in Magnolia, a daughter of the late Nick and Mary (Leone) Bosh, and was a life resident. She was a 1943 graduate of Magnolia High School, and was a former employee of The Timken Company. Marguerite was a member of St. James Catholic Church where she was very active, and the Sandy-Beaver Canal Society, for whom she helped make the quilts for many years that were raffled off during Canal Days. She loved to golf, and played in the Clearview Ladies Golf league for over 50 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ernest S. Pellegrene, on Oct. 22, 1995, a sister and three brothers, Nettie Albert, Mike, Frank, and Louie Bosh. Marguerite is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Bridget and Bruce Rainsberger, and Becky and Dan Schoeppner, three grandsons and six great-grandchildren, Christopher (Melissa) Schoeppner and their children, Ava and Carmen, David (Sarah) Schoeppner and their children, Chloe, Emerson, and Cooper, and Nicholas (Hosanna) Schoeppner and their daughter, Ruby, and a special niece, Marie Fedder, and her family. Interment was in Magnolia Cemetery. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Sat., August 28, 2021, at 11 a.m.in St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Zamary as Celebrant. Friends may call Sat., August 28th from 10-11 a.m. at the church before the Mass. The family wishes to thank the staff of Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar for the love and care they gave to Marguerite.
