Lora L. Campe
Age 62, of Medina, passed away Wed., March 14, 2018. She was born March 24, 1955 in Canton, a daughter of the late Thomas and Arlene (Steitz) Cowley, had been a Medina resident 10 years, previously Solon and Carrollton. Lora was a 1973 graduate of Carrollton High School and a Columbus business school. She had owned and operated BedKnobs and Broomstix, a cleaning business in Solon, for 30 years. Lora was a member of Cornerstone Chapel in Medina. She enjoyed life and willingly helped anyone in need. She loved children and animals. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, James C., Doris Arlene, Kathleen Sue, and Thomas L. Cowley. Lora is survived by five sisters and two brothers, Betty Armstrong, Ruth Ann (Gale) Scott, Ethel Jane Leyda, Karla (Ted) Roudebush, Sandra (Frank) Peshek, Donald (Mary) Cowley, and Bruce Cowley; 18 nieces and nephews; Lora’s loving life companion, Paul Steving; a life- long friend, Toni Pulling; and her beloved dog, Gidgit; Services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Rodney Good, of Cornerstone Chapel, officiating. Friends may Sunday 2-3 p.m. before the service. Interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery.
