Kevin C. Hall
Age 53, of Waynesburg, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019. He was born Oct. 26, 1965 in Canton, a son of the late Arley B. and Ruby (Mowrey) Hall, Sr., and was a life resident of Waynesburg. Kevin was a 1984 graduate of Sandy Valley High School. He was a well- known guitar player, and the first band he had was High Voltage in High School. The bands he played with locally in the Akron/Canton area were The Risk, Role Players, and MacBeth. High Risk was his band he put together that played for over 20 years in the Akron, Canton, and New Philadelphia areas. While in New Orleans, Rock Box was the first band he played with, then he joined No Quarters and Trickbag. He played at several clubs on Bourbon Street, Bourbon St. Blues Company, Fat Catz, Famous Doors, and The Old Opera House. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his children’s mother, Debbie Roberson, and two brothers, Fred and Arley B. Hall, Jr. He is survived by his daughters and son, Devyn and Morgan Hall and Presley Hall; a grandson and granddaughter, Carter and Laylah; three sisters, Tami Gooding, Janet Gooding, and Enid Iser; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Services will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at 2 p.m. in Faith Family Church, 8200 Freedom St. NW, North Canton, OH. Friends may call from Noon to 2 p.m. A further Celebration of Life will be held Sat., May 4, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. May 5th, at the Sandy Valley Eagles with live music to honor his guitar playing. A Silent Auction will be held. His family wishes to thank Bobby Ramsey, Anthony Diminno, Eric Brooke, Matt McKelly, John Parham, and all the musicians coming to play.
