JOSEPHINE A. “JO” YUKICH,
Age 100, of Magnolia, passed away Sat., Aug. 27, 2022. She was born July 20, 1922, in Magnolia, a daughter of the late Donato and Teodora (Capobianco) Confalone. She was a 1940 graduate of Magnolia High School, retired in 1985 from the Hoover Co., where she was a machine operator, and was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her loving husband, John Yukich, on Apr. 6, 2013, three sisters and two brothers, Carmel Pisani, Mary Pisani, Rose Del Gratta, Nick Confalone and Lawrence Confalone. Survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tues., Sept. 6th at 11 am with Fr. Joseph Zamary as Celebrant, assissted by her nephew, Deacon Wilbur Bagley. Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before the service, from 10-11 am, in the church. The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jo’s memory may be made to St. James Catholic Church, 400 W.
