Jon Artzner

Jon H. Artzner,

 Age 49, of Canal Fulton, passed away Mon., Feb. 13, 2023. He was born Jan. 6, 1974, in Canton, a son of Sue Zanne Artzner and the late Stephen Artzner.  Jon was a 1992 graduate of McKinley High School, earning his business degree from John Carroll University and an MBA from Malone University.  He was an avid Steelers fan, history buff, and Corvette enthusiast. He loved watching movies and English Premier League soccer whenever he was not reading a broad spectrum of topics from National Geographic to comic books and biographies. He had most recently worked in purchasing for Powell Electrical Systems and previously worked at Facil North America for 22 years. He was very strong in his faith and attended RiverTree Jackson. He was a proud Eagle Scout and member of Boy Scouts of America. Survived by his wife, Johnna Artzner, his son, Jack Artzner, his sister, Anita Artzner, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  The family extends sincere gratitude to friends and family for their support and love throughout the years. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sat., Feb 18, at 11 am in RiverTree Jackson with Pastor Jason Lantz officiating.  There will be no calling hours.  The Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, please consider becoming a regular blood donor; contributions in Jon’s memory may be made to the family to help defray expenses.  A gofundme account will be set up for the benefit of his family at https://gofund.me/c5da1c1c.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
