John Roush

JOHN R. ROUSH,

Age 100, of Bolivar, passed away in the presence of his daughters on Sat., Apr. 9, 2022.  Born Nov. 16, 1921 in Alliance, a son of the late John M. and Mabel (Gayhart) Roush.  John was a 1939 graduate of McKinley High School, served with the U.S. Navy during WWII and retired from Goodyear Aerospace.  He was a member of American Legion Post #44, Canton Lodge #60 F. & A.M., Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton and Tadmor Temple.  Preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Roush, on Mar. 8, 2011, his son, John M. Roush, two brothers, David and Ronald Roush, and his sister, Carol Comstock.  Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie (Mark) Yovanovich, with whom he resided, and Sue (Bob) Arnold; five grandchildren, Terri (Daniel) Nastari, and their children, Dylan and Gavin, Jason (Ashley) Yovanovich, Ty (Liz) Beadling, Lance (Lindsay) Beadling, and Grant (Megan) Beadling, and their daughter, Elyse; one sister, Marian Brennaman, one brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Betty) Roush and one sister-in-law, Donna Roush.  Services will be held Thur. at 1 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home.  Interment in West Lawn Cemetery with Military Honors.  Masonic Services by Canton Lodge #60 F. & A. M.
