G. Elizabeth McCutchan
Age 90, of Magnolia, passed away Sunday April 16, 2023. She was born June 5, 1932 in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late Russell and Margarete (Morrison) Jones, and had been a resident of the Magnolia area since 1964. She was a former member of East Sparta Christian Church and First Christian Church in Canton, and the KumJoinUs Sunday School Class of the Church, and a member of the Sandy Valley A.A.R.P.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ben O. McCutchan, on May 5, 2000, a daughter, Kathy Brown, on Nov. 8, 2011, a great-granddaughter, Juliet McCutchan, and a brother, Glen Jones. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ben and Barbara McCutchan, Jr. and David and Aletha McCutchan; six grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren, Betsy Brown, and her children, Alyssa, Kayleigh, Kembra, and Jack, Tessa (Andrew) Dalessandro, and their children, Joey, Maelee, and Sal, Shawn (Crystie) McCutchan, and their children, Caitlyn, Jonathan, Jacob, and Jackson, Phil (Brandi) McCutchan, and their daughters, Isabella, Lydia, and Hannah, Aaron (Jen) McCutchan, and their son, Maddux, Jaclyn (Kevin) Bravis, and their children, Ben, Austin, and Madelyn; one sister and one brother, Anna Lee Edgell and Jim (Nancy) Jones.
Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. William Moody officiating. Friends may call Wed. 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Liz’s memory may be made to either the American Cancer Society or Aultman Hospice, 2821 Woodlawn Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44708.
