Donald R Dager,
82, of North Canton, passed away at home, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday January 26, 2021. After a short, hard fought battle, Don reunited with the love of his life for more than 50 years, Margaret (Peggy) Keniary. Together they raised Donald M Dager (Donyale) of Florida, Christine (David) Laylon of Texas, Ann Marie Dager and Daniel R Dager (Becca) of Canton. They both absolutely adored every moment they were able to spend with granddaughters, Kayla and Kianna. Don could often be found in a bowling alley or swinging a club, as he was a league bowler and avid golfer for over 50 years. He also had a love of cars and passion for helping others. He will forever be remembered as the one who would give the shirt off his back. Born and raised in Canton, he was a 1956 McKinley graduate, and retired from United Engineering. Preceded in death by his wife Peg, parents Noble and Portia Dager, brother Jim (Adelia) Dager and twin sister Donna (Don) Drakulich. He is survived by his 4 children, 2 granddaughters and sister Joanne (Robert) Fabian. A private memorial service will be held at the McKinley Eagles, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mercy Hospice Services. The Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
