Delores A. Cook

 of North Canton, passed away Sat., July 24, 2021, one day before her 91st birthday.  She was born July 25, 1930 in Canton, OH, was raised in Louisville, and had been a North Canton resident most of her life.  She was a 1948 graduate of Louisville High School.  Delores had worked at the Hoover Company, London Candies, and Canton City Schools.  She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in North Canton.  She enjoyed bingo, cards, and reading, but mostly just spending time with her children and grandchildren.

  Delores was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Walter S. Cook, on Jan. 10, 2013.  She is survived by her daughter and two sons, Pamela Cook and David Mathews, Mark and Stephanie Cook, and Mitch and Laurie Cook, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, Michael and Megan Cook, and their children, Caroline and Caitlin, Deanna and Clay Graves, and their children, Lucas and Kennedi, Christopher and Jennifer Cook, and their children, Madeleine and Emmaline, Colin Cook, Chelsea Santarelli and Jerry Gaydash and children, Jerry and Sylas, Spencer Cook, and Jack Cook.

  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wed. at 10 a.m. in St. Paul’s Catholic Church with Fr. Brian Smith as Celebrant.  Friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home.  Entombment will be in North lawn Mausoleum.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Delores’ memory may be made to Aultman Hospice, 2821 Woodlawn Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44708.  Condolences may be made to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
