Daniel D. Klotz, Sr.
Age 80, of Sandyville, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021. He was born Nov. 18, 1940 in Malvern, OH, a son of the late Chester and Hilda Klotz, and resided in Sandyville 51 years. He retired in 2000 from Hilscher-Clarke Electric Co. after 30 years’ service where he was an electrician. Dan was a member of Sandyville United Methodist Church, Sandy Valley Eagles #3228, which he served as President, Sandy Valley American Legion Post #432, and he had help train dogs. Dan had served in the U. S. Army from 1963-65. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters, Paul Klotz, Jane Reed, and Vivian Maury. Dan is survived by his wife, Wanda J. Klotz, with whom he would have celebrated their 54th Wedding Anniversary on Sept. 30th, a daughter and two sons, Tabatha Green, Rick Klotz, and Daniel Klotz, Jr., a sister and brother, Martha (Dale) Moyer and Richard (Kathleen) Klotz, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be held Wed. at 2 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Joshua Daniels officiating.
