Dale E. Henderlong, Sr.
Age 86, of Mineral City, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023. He was born Dec. 26, 1936 In Fly, OH, a son of the late Melvin and Bertha (Sloan) Henderlong, and had been a Mineral City resident since 1966. Dale was retired from Superior Brand Meats in Massillon where he was a truck driver and warehouseman with 31 years’ service. He was a member of Sandy Valley Eagles, the Harley Owner Group (HOG), and he enjoyed riding motorcycles most of his life. Dale had honorably served in the U. S. Army.
In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Janice A. Henderlong, on May 20, 1991. Dale is survived by his long-time companion, Jretta Frame; three daughters and one son, Christine (David) Haas, Cathleen Moore, Joyce (Rick) Young, and Dale Henderlong, Jr., and a granddaughter, Shannon.
Private graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in German Cemetery with Military Honors. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
