Cynthia Brown Obituary

Cynthia (Cyndi Merrick) Brown,

born on June 25, 1958, was a life resident of East Sparta. She passed away on September 9, 2018, after a long and faithful battle with illness. She is the loving & respectful daughter of D. Eugene & Mabel Anne (Weber) Merrick. Cyndi was a 1976 graduate of Sandy Valley HS & a Christian member of the Church of Christ. The goal of her life was to live according to God's word, encourage others to ACT by his definitions & prepare for judgement.  She is survived and blessed by her husband, Donald, for 32 years. She shared her example of God to her 2 precious daughters; Trisha (Robb) Quicci with grandson Oliver and Kelli (Anthony) Scalia and two step-children, Brian (Shannon) Brown with 3 grandchildren Corbin, Katie & Cody and Kristen (Nate) Barnhardt. Also survived by her siblings: Karen (Wayne) Rambaud, Gary (Janet) Merrick, Valerie (Gary) Nolen, and Stephanie (Charles) Mathews and many nieces and nephews.  Services will be this Saturday, September 15 at Northwest Church of Christ in Canton - 3904 38th St NW, Canton OH 44718. Visitation hours will be 8:30am - 11:00am, with a memorial service to follow.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
