Clifford B. Baum

  Age 86, of Magnolia, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022.  He was born November 17, 1936 in Canton, a son of the late Bernard and Reva (Lupher) Baum, and was a life resident of the East Sparta-Magnolia area.  Cliff was a 1954 graduate of East Sparta High School. He retired in 1998 from Hendrickson Trailer Systems after 13 ½ years, where he was a welder, and previously worked ten years for Brechbuhler Scales and 13 years for MB Operating. Cliff was a member of East Sparta United Methodist Church, Carr-Bailey American Legion Post #519 in Mineral City, Sandy Valley Eagles, VFW Post #3747, the Army-Navy Club, Caldwell Lodge #330, F. & A.M. in Bolivar, and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton.  Cliff Honorably Served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Betty A. Baum, on February 26, 2010.  Cliff is survived by a special friend, Jane Dixon, one daughter and two sons, Deborah (Joseph) Baumgardner, Douglas (Denise) Baum, and Daniel (Robyn) Baum; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Daniel (Arieann) Baum, Jr., and their children, Mercedes, Wyatt, and Evelyn, Erica (Alex) Stuchul, Dustin (Ashley) Baum, and their one soon to be born, and Alexis Crouse.

 Services will be held Friday at 12 Noon in the Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Peggy Garner officiating.  Friends may call Friday 10 a.m.-12 Noon before the funeral.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville with Military Honors.  Masonic Services will be held Friday at 11:45 a.m. just before the service.
