Christina Louise (Offenberger) Stone,
passed away Thursday April 29, 2021 surrounded by her loving family after complications from kidney disease. She was born on October 28, 1969 to Ray and Elaine (Motz) Offenberger. She was a long-time resident of northeast Ohio and worked as a Respiratory Therapist at Alliance Community Hospital for 20 years where she met many of her closest friends. One of her main goals in life was to see her family and friends happy, and she devoted many selfless hours to planning game nights, parties, vacations, and holidays with the people she loved. She was a true hostess and anyone was welcomed into her home and at her table in exchange for togetherness and shared laughs—and since she was a big fan of comedy, the laughs never quit. Her wit and creativity were gifts to everyone around her; from photography to scrapbooking to cosmetics, she had a fun, expressive, and bright soul. Her dedication to her family was tireless and her love for her children never wavered. Through the trials of her son’s illness and eventual passing in 2013 as well as her own chronic illness, she stayed a perfect example of grace, strength, and resilience to anyone who knew her story. She would meet any challenge head-on and overcome against all odds, surviving things that could kill anyone else ten times over. For those who knew her tenacity and perseverance, she was nothing short of a real-life superhero. The comfort, unconditional love, and hope she gave us during her short time on this earth will never diminish in our hearts. We are so endlessly proud to have called her our own. Preceding Christina in death are her father Ray Offenberger; step-father Mike Fahrney; father-in-law Frank Stone; and son Collin Stone. She is survived by her husband of 31 years Scott Stone; her daughter Kayla Stone; mother Elaine Fahrney; sister Connie Allen; brother-in-law Bob Allen; mother-in-law June Martin; sisters-in-law Tami Essig and Kim Stone; nieces Maria Allen, Paige Essig, Taylor Cope, and Kristi Mae Burge; nephew USAF Staff Sargeant Brian Russell; several great nieces and nephews; as well as many cousins, aunts, and uncles. Services will be held Sat. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Fr. Vic Cinson officiating. Friends may call Fri. from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
