Chalynne Moore Obituary

Chalynne Kaye Moore shed her earthly pain and made a peaceful exit on February 9, 2024, while at home surrounded by the love of her family.  She fought a courageous battle against Triple Negative Breast Cancer with grace.  Today and forever, she is healed, and her spirit is free.

Born August 21, 1987, in Canton, OH, the daughter of Joseph and Donna (Stewart) McCaulley, who instilled in her a strong sense of independence, open-mindedness, intellectual pursuit, kindness, and appreciation of the art of sarcasm and humor.  She was the best of both of them.  A reality of which they could not have been more proud.

Chalynne’s memory will forever be a guiding light in the hearts of those she touched.  She was an admired RN-BSN with Community Hospice.  Her legacy of love, compassion and joy will continue to inspire all who knew her.  Her soul touched our lives in the most beautiful ways. Throughout her 36 years, she saw beauty all around her.  Never failing to notice the warmth of the sunshine, a hint of blue sky in the clouds, the unique bend of an old tree, or the way the lake caught the sun like diamonds dancing on the waves.  She loved nature and Mother Earth.

Her special bond with animals (except birds) was unmistakable.  Rescuer of any lost dog and would bring them home.  A stubborn force to be reckoned with.  An unrelenting advocate, teaching her children to be their true and authentic selves.  Chalynne’s free spirit was always up for adventure, and she was blessed by the many friends who joined her.  The Hocking Hills trip was epic!  She chose simple over flashy, and was deeply sentimental.  Loud, funny, intelligent, loyal, and naturally beautiful. She cherished raising her children the most, while providing them with a strong foundation of love.  She shared her nature loving spirit with them, who will no doubt carry their mother’s zest for life, adventure, deep compassion, and selflessness in all they do.  There is so much more to be said, but in the end what she did was make our world brighter.

Chalynne is survived by her husband of seven years, Dillon, four children, Wiatt, Camryn, Hadley, and Genevieve, her mother, Donna McCaulley, brother, Treg (Miranda) McCaulley, nieces, Addison and Makenna, nephew, Hunter, mother-in-law, Nancy Moore and Steve Johnson, along with special friend/soul sister, Miranda Miller, and extended family.  She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph McCaulley, and grandparents, Harry and Anne Stewart and James McCaulley.

A Celebration of life will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 12 Noon in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Bill Newell officiating.  Visitation will be one hour before the service with a Graveside Service to follow at Union Valley Cemetery.  Contributions in Chalynne’s memory may be made to Community Hospice, 710 Commercial Ave., New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
