Arlow E. “Bud” Weisen, Jr.

 Age 90, of Magnolia, passed away Thursday, Feb.2, 2023.  He was born Sept. 16, 1932 in Magnolia, a son of the late Arlow E. and Helen (Patterson) Weisen, Sr., and was a life resident.  Bud was a 1950 graduate of Magnolia High School.  He retired in 1996 from Timken Steel, after 30 years’ service, where he was a crane operator.  Bud was a member of North Industry Christian Church and Isaac L. Kinney American Legion Post #244 in East Sparta.  Bud Honorably served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Kay (Basford) Weisen, on Oc. 2, 2022.  Bud is survived by two daughters and one son, Lisa (Ken) Reyes-Wilmoth, Suzanne (Dorian) Myers, and Stephen (Karen) Weisen, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

 Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Ed Barnes officiating.  Friends may call one hour before the service on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Military Honors.
