William T. Sommer,

Age 87, of Magnolia, passed away Sat., July 19, 2025.  He was born Mar. 24, 1938, in Shadyside, OH, a son of the late Eugene and Margaret (Leeper) Sommer.  Bill was a 1956 graduate of Sandy Valley High School and retired from PCP Air Foils in Minerva.  He was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morges and Caldwell Lodge #330 F. & A.M. in Bolivar.  Preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Sommer, on Dec. 25, 2023, and his son, Michael Sommer.  Survived by one daughter, Gina (Randy) Endicott; two sons, Mark (Nancy) Sommer, and Eric (Lorraine) Sommer; one sister, Jean Wright; three brothers, Dave (Linda) Sommer, Jim (Brenda) Sommer, Ted (Debbie) Sommer; and five grandchildren, Amanda (Tony) Snively, Jeremy Sommer and Courtney Swier, Michael Endicott and Emalee Barnhart, Kayla Sommer, and Brad (Allegra) Sommer.  Private services will be held in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home.  There will be no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill's memory may be made to: St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 8012 Bachelor Rd.
