William A. Hockenberry   1958-2016

Age 57, of Waynesburg, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016.  He was born in Canton, a son of Victoria (Medved) Hockenberry of Magnolia, and the late Harold Hockenberry, and was a life resident of the Waynesburg area.  Bill was a 1977 graduate of Sandy Valley High School.  He retired in 2003 from Heckett Engineering after 30 years service, where he was a crane operator.  Bill was a member of Ohio Operating Engineers Local #18, Carroll Lodge #124, F. & A.M., the York Rite, NRA,and a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, attending at both Carrollton and Sandy Valley.  Surviving besides his mother is his wife, Jane A. Hockenberry, with whom he would have celebrated their thirteenth Wedding Anniversary on Nov. 15 ^th ; a step-daughter, Lisa (Jerry) Miller, and a step-grandson, Seth Miller, all of Conway, SC; and his beloved dog, Harley.  Graveside services will be held Sat. at 11 a.m. in Sandy Valley Cemetery with Pastor J.
