Obituary

WILLIAM E. FIDDLER,

Age 84, of East Sparta, passed away Sat., Mar. 14, 2015.  Born in Mineral City, a son of the late Edward and Wilma Grace (Williams) Fiddler, he had been an East Sparta resident since 1949.  Bill served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and retired from A.S. Helbig Construction Co. in Akron after over 50 years service where he was a heavy equipment operator.  He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church – Morges, and Ohio Operating Engineers, Local #18.  Preceded in death by two sons, Lee Fiddler in 2007 and Kevin Fiddler in 1993, and his brother, James Fiddler in 1987.  Survived by his wife, Lucille Fiddler, with whom he would have celebrated their 64th Wedding Anniversary on Apr. 30th; two daughters and one son-in-law, Cindy and Brian Arnold, and Sandi Vigus, all of Canton; one son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Brenda Fiddler, of Waynesburg; eight grandchildren, including our beloved Carrie (Wilbur) Horner; and 13 great grandchildren.  A Memorial Mass will be held Mon. at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church – Morges, with Fr. Anthony batt officiating.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill's memory may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, PO Box 690, Waynesburg, OH  44688.
