William F. Currie,

Age 85, Waynesburg, passed away peacefully Sun., Jan. 4, 2026, in Aultman Compassionate Care Center after declining health.  Bill was a 1958 graduate of Malvern High School and retired from Mullinax Ford after many years service as an Auto Mechanic.  Preceded in death by his wife, Carol Currie; his parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Currie; sisters Nancy Benedict and Beverly Tucci; brother-in-law, Glen Benedict; and nephew, Randy Benedict.  Survived by his children, Lisa (Pat) Laman, Mary Ann (Doug) Miller, and Eric (Marcy) Currie; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Billy Tucci; sisters-in-law Nancy Reed and Beckie Reed; and faithful furry companion Chloe.  Bill enjoyed his daily restaurant visits with friends at the Waynesburg Grill, Rusty Spoon or talking with his buddies at McDonald's.  His love for watching Westerns, NASCAR, the Guardians, football and riding motorcycles was a favorite pastime. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Aultman Compassionate Care Center, Dr. Steven Stassiak and the numerous friends that have been there for Bill after Carol's passing.  Their generosity of dropping off food, taking Bill to appointments when needed, picking him up for his weekly dinner with friends and his once-a-month Amish dinner that he so looked forward to.  The family is truly grateful and appreciative for all!  According to his wishes there will be no services.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
