Warren W. "Fred" Young Age 67, of Magnolia, passed away Monday afternoon in Aultman Hospital. He was born in Dover, a son of the late Edward and Wilma (Waltz) Young, Sr., and was a life resident of Magnolia. Fred was a 1963 graduate of Sandy Valley High School. He was a retired employee of Builders Wholesale Supply, and previously worked at Babcock & Wilcox and Findley Welding. Fred was a member of Magnolia United Methodist Church and Sandy Valley American Legion Post #432. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Viet Nam War. Preceded in death by a sister, Violet Block, and three nephews, Scott Collins, Leroy Block, and Christopher Young. Survived by his wife, Linda K. Young, with whom he celebrated their 46th Wedding Anniversary on Aug. 27, 2012; two sons, Gary L. Young, of Canal Fulton, and Steven W. Young, of Magnolia; one sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Jim Comber, of Canton; one brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Dorothy Young, Jr., of Edgewood, NM. Services will be held Sat. at 3 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Steven M. Smith officiating. Interment in Magnolia Cemetery with full Military Honors.
