Wanda L. Harris Age 87, of East Sparta, passed away Sunday morning, Jan. 8, 2012, in Aultman Hospital. She was born in East Sparta, a daughter of the late Chalmers and Edna (Booth) Quillen, and was a life resident. Wanda retired in 1969 from Sparta Ceramic, after 30 years service, where she operated a hand press. She was a member of East Sparta Christian Church, the Auxiliary of Isaac L. Kinney American Legion Post #244, and the Buckeye Camping Club. Preceded in death by three children, Faye, Ronnie, and Roger Morris, and three sisters and three brothers, Irene Broad, Evelyn Walters, Donna Justice, Raymond, Otmer Bud, and Harold Quillen. Survived by her husband, Lowell O. Harris, with whom she celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary on Sept. 3, 2011; two nieces, Paula (Kenny) Render, and Barbara Everhart; five nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Services will be held Wed. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Andrew Bailey officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville.
