Walter L. Noble

Age 78, of Magnolia, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017.  He was born May 28, 1938, in Fairfield, IL, a son of the late Walter J. and Mary (Simpson) Noble, and had been a resident of the Magnolia area since 1967.  Walter owned Noble's Oil Pumping and Waddy & Son.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, JoAnn Noble, on Nov. 24, 2016, an infant son, Walter Jackson Noble, and a sister, Ruth Eastep.  He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Richard Miday, and his son, Michael Noble and Theresa McCaulley, all of Dellroy; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, Scott and Kristen Miday, and their children, Luke and Magdalena, Sommer and Jeff Warwick and their children, Conlin, Jaxson, and Nayomi, Travis Noble, and Tanner Noble and his son, Brantley; one sister, Barbara Sarles.  A Graveside service will be held Sat. at 11 a.m. in Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield, IL.  There will be no local services.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
