Walter F. Miller
Age 89, of North Canton, passed away suddenly Wed. morning in Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Canton, a son of the late Walter R. and Viola (Stantz) Miller, and was a life resident of this area. Walter was a 1942 graduate of Canton South High School. He retired in 1984 from Diebold Inc., after 22 years service, where he was an assembler. Walter was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton, and served in the U. S. Army during World War II. Survived by his wife, Mary K. Miller, with whom he celebrated their 63rd Wedding Anniversary on April 22nd; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Rosemary and Ronald Yant, of Tucson, AZ, Kathleen and Steven Hendrix, of Sagamore Hills, OH, and Janice Miller, of North Canton; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Ingrid Miller, of Canton, Timothy and Paulette Miller, of Massillon, and Mark Miller, of Canton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene and Mary Miller, of Canton, and Paul and Barb Miller, of Middlebranch; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton with Rev. Stephen Zeigler as Celebrant. Interment in Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors.
