Walter W. Dye, Jr.

Age 69, of Magnolia, passed away Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, in Aultman Hospital, surrounded by his loving family and friends.  He was born in Canton, a son of the late Walter, Sr. and Frankie (Wheeler) Dye, and had been a Magnolia resident since 1973.  Walter was a 1964 graduate of Glenwood High School.  He retired in 1999 from The Timken Co., after 35 years service, where he worked in the Steel Mill.  Survived by his wife, Beatrice M. Dye, with whom he celebrated their 49th Wedding Anniversary on Feb. 5th.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher and Cara Dye, of Louisville, and Brian and Michelle Dye, of Waynesburg; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, Taylor, Steffani, Austin (Shannon) and their daughter, Sydney, and Morgan Dye, and Cassandra and Kaytelyn Pyles; one brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Phyllis Dye, of North Canton.  A Memorial Service will be held Sat., Oct. 24, 2015 at 2 p.m.in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home with Rev. Clifford Hughes officiating.
