VIRGINIA L. SMITH, Age 90, of East Sparta, passed away Mon. evening in her residence. Born in Wayne Co., WV, a daughter of the late William and Anne Black Smith, she had been an East Sparta resident for 20 years, previously residing in Ashland, KY. Virginia was a member of East Sparta United Methodist Church and had attended Normal Presbyterian Church in Ashland. Preceded in death by one sister, Beulah Uhler, and three brothers, Homer, Howard, and James Smith. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted Thur. at 2 p.m. in the Golden Oaks Memorial Garden in Ashland, KY. Friends may call Wed. (TONIGHT) from 6-8 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.
