Virginia Davis Kennedy

Age 97, of Canton, a dear faithful servant of the Lord, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021.  She was born July 3, 1924 in Milwaukee, WI, a daughter of the late Edwin and Olga (Perathaner) Davis, and had been a Canton resident for a number of years.  She was a member of Grace Brethren Church on N. Market Ave.  Virginia and her husband had a wonderful Ministry together, serving five churches, the last of which was in Oahu, HI.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Rev. James M. Kennedy in 2001, and a son, Tim Kennedy.  Virginia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and John Haschak, her son and daughter-in-law, David and Nancy Kennedy, and daughter-in-law, Kathy Kennedy, nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  A Memorial Service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Grace Brethren Church, 6283 Market Ave. N, Canton, OH 44721, with Pastor Joe Cosentino officiating.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Virginia's memory may be made to the church.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneral homes.com
