Victor P. Pachan

Age 58, of Canton, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015.  He was born in Canton, a son of the late William and Mary (Campbell) Pachan, and was a life resident.  Vic was a 1974 graduate of Central Catholic High School.  He was the retired owner of W.M. Pachan Construction Company after 42 years with the company.  Vic worked hard, played hard, shared his home at Lake Cable, and his sense of humor will be missed by all.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jo Sminchak.  He is survived by the love of his life, Martha L. Pachan, with whom he would have celebrated their 38th Wedding Anniversary on August 21st; three daughters and sons-in-law, Katie and Erik Jacobson, and their sons, Olin and Vic, Sarah and Matt Gebhardt, and their sons, Joseph and Nicholas, and Abby and Michael Fach; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ben and Kate Pachan, and their children, Shiloh and Jack, and Will Pachan and his fiancée, Sadie McFarland; one sister and two brothers-in-law, Patty and Dan Lloyd, and Al Sminchak;  four brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike Pachan, Steve and Brenda Pachan, Matt and Amy Pachan, and Tom and Sherry Pachan.  The family will receive friends on Monday at Lake Cable Club House from 4-8 p.m.  A time of Remembrance and Reflection of Vic's life will be held at 8 p.m. for those who wish to share memories.  The family wishes to express their appreciation to the doctors and staff of Aultman Compassionate Care Center for the love and care they gave to Vic, and Memorials in his memory may be sent there at 2821 Woodlawn Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44708.  The Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
