Vera A. (Riggs) Beiter Age 91, of North Canton, passed away Tuesday afternoon in Aultman Hospital. She was born in Canton, a daughter of the late Murd and Sylvia (Marti) Riggs, and was a life resident of this area. Vera was a 1935 graduate of McKinley High School. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, the PEO Sisterhood, Chapter BB, and the Grow & Show Garden Club. Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Clement A. Beiter, on Nov. 14, 1999, a grandson, Joel Morgan, on July 8, 2004, and a sister and brother, Virginia Oyler and Raymond Riggs. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and David Morgan, of N. Canton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Bobbie Beiter and Roger and Kathy Beiter, all of Canton; also 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in Christ United Methodist Church with Pastor Norma Bates officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 p.m. at the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home and Monday 10-11 a.m. at the church.
