Valerie Jean (Serapiglia) Tomic

Age 57, of Canton, passed away Sun., Sept. 5, 2021, after struggling with multiple health problems. She was born May 30, 1964 in Canton, OH, and raised in Middlebranch, OH, by her late parents, Louis Serapiglia and Vickie (DeGiralomo) Stenger. Valerie was also preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Tomic.

She is survived by her daughter, Vanessa J. Williams (Aaron); her grandchildren, Gavin, Alexandrea, Aubree, Haylee and Kamden; companion, Tim Kiger; siblings, Mary Jo Bowen (Pat), LuAnn Cerreta (Jerry), Mike Serapiglia (Chris) , and Lou Serapiglia (Mary); uncle, Raymond Sirpilla; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.  Valerie loved her family and was so very proud of her grandchildren. May she be at peace without struggles or pain.

A private service will be held Sat., Sept. 11, 2021 in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home, with Amy Downard, Celebrant, officiating.  Interment in Warstler Cemetery.
