Timothy R. Chambers,

age 72, of the City of Green, OH, passed away peacefully on November 11th at Mercy Medical Center. Tim was born on August 31, 1949, to Ralph and Carmen Chambers in Akron, Ohio. After graduating from Green High School in 1967, he went on to serve in the U. S. Navy as a heavy machine operator during the Vietnam War. Tim continued this line of work, retiring from Oster Sand and Gravel. Tim was an avid golfer, loved tinkering around fixing things, enjoyed his part-time job with LaserShip delivering packages and meeting new people, and was adored by his dog, Sophia who you could find sitting on his lap most days. Tim is preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, Ralph and Carmen Chambers, his brother Kevin Chambers, his step-daughter Angela Burke and stepsons Donnie Martin II and Jeffrey Martin.  He is survived by his wife, Martha Chambers of the City of Green, his sister-in-law, Debra Chambers, his daughter, Sara Stansbery, his step-children Jill (Todd) Grandquist, Melissa (Chad) Butler, Chris (Kristen) LaVoie, and eleven grandchildren, Ryan, Megan, Corey, Christopher, Aiden, Cash, Nolan, Colton, Noah, Anna, and Caleb.  A private burial will be held in his honor followed by a Celebration of Life at a later date.
