DR. THOMAS L. WILSON,

Age 71, of North Canton, passed away Mon., Feb. 27, 2017.  Born Mar. 24, 1945, in Canton, a son of the late Wilbur and Velma (Schmeltz) Wilson, he had been a life resident of the Canton area.  Dr. Wilson retired in 2003 from McKinley High School as a Guidance Counselor.  Preceded in death by three brothers, Larry, Harry and Dale Wilson.  Survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Seth and Heidi Wilson, and Drew Wilson; two granddaughters, Anna and Emma; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Wilson; one niece, Susan Hinten and her husband, Tim; and his former wife, Ellen Wilson.  A private memorial will be held in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home.  Friends may call Wed. from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.  In honor of his status as a bilateral kidney recipient, contributions in Dr. Wilson's memory may be made to the Cleveland Clinic at: www.giving.clevelandclinic.org , or PO Box 931517, Cleveland, OH 44193-1655.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
