Thomas C. Mancuso

Age 89, of Waynesburg, passed away Monday, Sept. 4, 2017.  He was born Nov. 10, 1927 in New Philadelphia, OH, a son of the late Anthony and Ida (Jones) Mancuso, and had been a Waynesburg resident since 1945.  Tom retired in 1987 from Shanafelt Mfg. Co., after 17 years service, where he was an arc welder, and previously was employed 23 years at Natco Fireproofing Co. in Magnolia.  He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and Joseph Cichetti VFW Post #8024.  Tom was a veteran of the U. S. Army.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Margaret M. Mancuso, on Aug. 15, 2000, three sisters, Betty Astorino, Mildred Rugani, and Geneva Mancuso, and one brother, Albert "Bud" Mancuso.  He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Gregory Croston, one, sister, Theresa (William) Sommer, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, including the Spencer family, Vicki, Zachary and Stephanie, who were very special to him.  Services will be held Sat. at 11 a.m. in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Fr.
