Age 84, of Magnolia, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023.  She was born November 7, 1939 in New Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Anthony and Ida (Jones) Mancuso, and was a life resident of this area.  Theresa was a 1957 graduate of Sandy Valley High School, and had been a cashier for many years at Town & Country IGA, previously James IGA.  She was a member of St. Mary's of Morges Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Sommer, three sisters and two brothers, Betty Astorino, Mildred Rugani, Geneva Mancuso, Thomas Mancuso, and Albert "Bud" Mancuso.  Theresa is survived by her husband, William T. Sommer, with whom she celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary on Oct. 26th; one daughter and two sons, Gina (Randy) Endicott, Mark (Nancy) Sommer, and Eric (Lorraine) Sommer; five grandchildren, Amanda (Tony) Snively, Jeremy Sommer and Courtney Swier, Michael Endicott and Emalee Barnhart, Kayla Sommer, and Brad Sommer.

Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Fr. Jonas Shell as Celebrant.  Friends may call Friday 10-11 a.m. before the service.  Interment will be in St. Mary's Church Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
