Terry W. Slezak
Age 65, of North Canton, passed away Sat. evening in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Massillon, a son of his late parents, Sylvester Slezak and Helen Ackerman Paone, and was a life resident of this area. Terry was a 1964 graduate of Hoover High School. He retired in 2001 from The Hoover Co., after 33 years service, where he was a motor repairman. He attended The Cathedral of Life and was a member of the North Canton Eagles. Terry served in the U. S. Navy during the Viet Nam War. Survived by his wife, Barbara A. Slezak, with whom he would have celebrated their 33rd Wedding Anniversary on July 29th; one daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Shawn Pepper and their children, Jake, Jessica, and Jason; two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Karen Slezak, of Canton, Dean and Paula Thompson and their children, Josh and Jordan, of Greentown; two step-sons, Mark Thompson, of Norton, and Scott Thompson, of Canton. Services will be held on Wed. at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home. Interment in North Canton Cemetery with Military Honors. Friends may call Tuesday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Terry's memory may be made to Aultman Hospice, 2821 Woodlawn Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44708.
