Terry L. Shortt

Age 59, of Waynesburg, passed away Friday, Feb. 7, 2020.  He was born Oct. 18, 1960 in Richland, VA, a son of the late Joe "Sam" and Anna (Smith) Shortt, Sr., and had been a Waynesburg resident since 1965.  Terry was a 1979 graduate of Sandy Valley High School.  Terry had worked as Manager of new car prep for Family Pontiac, had been a substitute for Canton City Schools in the custodial department, and had been a caregiver for the Adult Developmental Disability Services.  He is survived by a daughter, Casey Shortt, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Tammy Shortt, Jr., Gene and Vanessa Shortt, and twin Jerry Shortt, also numerous nieces and nephews.  A Private Memorial Service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Clifford Hughes officiating.  Interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery.  There will be no calling hours.
