Tamara G. Cochran

Age 57, of Jackson Township, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015, in Aultman Hospital.  She was born in Fairfield, IL, a daughter of Patsy (Peyton) Edmison, of Canton South and the late Robert Edmison, came to Waynesburg when she was young, and has resided in Jackson Township 22 years.  Tammie was a 1975 graduate of Sandy Valley High School, and a 1979 graduate of the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  She had been a Registered Nurse at Tri-County Orthopedics since 1981 and a member of Church of The Lakes, United Methodist.  Tammie's passion was her sons, and especially Denison University Football where her sons played.  Surviving besides her mother, is her husband, Dr. Jeffrey M. Cochran, with whom she celebrated their 28th Wedding Anniversary on May 23rd;   two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeffrey, Jr. and Kara Cochran, of Philadelphia, PA, and Matt Cochran, of the home;  two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Ernie Barnett, of Anchorage, AK, and Bertie and Chuck Colvin, of Bolivar.  Services will be held Fri. at 3 p.m. in Church of The Lakes, United Methodist Church with Pastor Bryan George officiating.  Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens on Sat. at 1 p.m.  Friends may call in the church from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. before the service.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tammie's memory may be made to the Aultman Cancer Center, 2600 W. Tusc. Street, Canton, OH 44708, or to Denison Football, Denison University, c/o Jack Hatem, 100 W.
