Susan C. McCarty,

Age 70, of Canton, passed away Mon., Nov. 29, 2021.  Born Oct. 3, 1951, in Canton, a daughter of the late Frederick and Elizabeth (Wieck)Taylor, Sr.  Sue was a graduate of Glenwood High School and retired from Canton City Schools as a Secretary.  She was a member of the former Calvary Presbyterian Church and a current member of Christ Presbyterian Church.  Preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Bill Daniel.  Survived by two sons, Brian McCarty and Don McCarty; one sister, Sally Taylor-Daniel; one brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Cheryl Taylor, Jr.; and four grandchildren.  A Memorial Service will be held Sat., Dec. 4, 2021 at 2 pm in the Christ Presbyterian Church.  Friends may call one hour before the service, from 1-2 pm, in the church, and the family will receive friends after the service in the church hall.  The Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sue's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer awareness, or the charity of the donor's choice.  Condolences may be left at:  www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
